Social and Recreation Supports

We can support you if you require support to achieve independence and participate in community activities. Supports provided include;

  • Community access (e.g., visiting friends or family, movies, shopping, religious activities, and learning life skills)
  • Recreation activities (e.g., swimming, sporting activities, physical activities, museums, sporting events, meditation/ yoga, and outdoor games/ activities)
  • Emotional and peer support for community access
  • Support for the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
  • Support for acquiring and maintaining life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills.
  • Advocating and collaborating with your healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards.

Study and Work Supports include:

  • Supports to maintain and sustain employment or apprenticeship
  • Assistance to find employment disability support services that can assist with job seeking
  • Supports to sustain volunteer or work in your own business
  • Support and assistance to study at TAFE or university.
